No. We only sell through specialty hearth dealers.

Simply click on Find a Dealer or browse the “Where to Buy” tab and enter your postal code to display a list of all dealers in your area.

Your primary contact is the dealer from which you purchased your appliance. They will be able to answer any operational or service-related questions you may have. Should you require supplemental assistance, please contact us.

The optimal servicing and maintenance frequency for your fireplace will depend on use and the type of installation. When first starting to use your fireplace, it’s important to gauge how quickly your chimney gets dirty. This is also known as determining the rate of creosote formation in your chimney (how quickly it gets dirty). Do this by checking it on a regular basis (every two weeks if you’re using the fireplace regularly). Once you have determined the rate of creosote formation in your chimney, you will have a clearer indication of how often the system should be cleaned.

Many systems require cleaning on an annual basis, while others require either more, or less, maintenance. Having a qualified service technician perform a regular cleaning inspection will help you keep your fireplace operating optimally.

Yes. Wood is a renewable natural resource. Well-managed forests are a renewable and sustainable source of energy that helps us reduce greenhouse gas emissions and become less dependent on oil and gas. Wood is also regarded as carbon neutral. This is because trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere while they grow, and then release it back into the atmosphere when they die, decompose in the forest, or burn in forest fires. Trees are therefore carbon neutral because burning firewood produces the same amount of carbon dioxide as it absorbed during its life cycle.

All of our fireplaces are considered zero clearance. Zero clearance means that the fireplace requires no clearance from nearby combustible materials on any side, except the front. Any framing materials can be used. They can be tight against the fireplace body or in the form of standoffs. Zero clearance fireplaces require no special footings to set the fireplace in place allowing it to be placed directly on the floor. The final result is a clean-finished fireplace built into the wall.

If you are building a new home, the best time to have your fireplace installed is immediately after the roof has been finished. At this point the inside walls are still typically open framing which allows for the fireplace to be placed and framed without damaging finished walls. The fireplace can be installed and set in place long before the finishing work is completed. Make sure you protect the glass door (keep it covered and removed from the work zone) until construction is complete.

No. Our fireplaces use stainless steel chimneys.

Yes. Since the fireplace works using natural draft, it never requires any electricity to function. It is safe to operate even if you have blowers installed to move the heat around.

Because a fireplace becomes a permanent fixture in the home, much like a major appliance or automobile, your choice deserves careful consideration. It is important that the fireplace you select is one that reflects the mood and design you wish to give to your home.

This choice should not be left to the builder. A bad choice often leads to regrets about the fireplace’s final appearance. Make sure to choose a look that suits your tastes. Given that most fireplaces serve as focal point in a room, it is important to choose one you’ll be happy to showcase for years to come.
